
| Tab Navigation & Interface Tabbed searching allows you to seamlessly open and close multiple result tabs for each of your searches. Using this, you can conduct multiple searches simultaneously, cutting the time you spend searching in half . |
Drag & Drop Tab Sorting If you do not have any searches open, whether checked or unchecked your search will open in a tab.If checked it will always open your searches in a new tab so that previous searches stay open. If unchecked it will edit the last selected tab and display results without opening a new tab. Closing Tabs You can close a tab simply by left clicking on the red "X" found toward the top right of the open tab. You can close all tabs by clicking the little toggle arrow on the "X" then left clicking the close all tabs button. Alternatively you can "right" click the "X" without using the close all toggle to close all tabs. Lock/Unlock Tabs You can lock tabs so that they are not accidentally closed. This allows you quickly close results you no longer need while to keeping the results you want. To close a tab that has been locked it must be first unlocked then closed. Tab List Drop Down Menu If you have many tabs open you can use the Tab List Drop Down to more easily navigate and selecting close tabs. This can be found toward the top left of the tab navigation area under the search icon if you have more the one tab open. Q-Trigger Menu There is both a beginner and advanced Q-Trigger menu. The Q-Trigger menu allows you to use your mouse to input Q-Triggers into the search bar. Expand/Collapse Result Descriptions The descriptions of results can individually be expanded or collapsed to simplify the display and make it easier to read results. You can also expand or collapse all results at once by clicking the "Expand" or "Collapse" link on the tab navigation bar. Stack Refining Each time you select a tab it also selects the text in the search bar so you can immediately refine your search term. You can also easily add to the existing search term by pushing the space bar on your keyboard when the text is first selected from clicking a tab. Page Place Holding Page Place Holding will automatically return you to any active searches or tabs. Should you leave the site at any time without closing your results, then later return, your search results and page placements for each tab will be as they were when you left, allowing you to continue your search seamlessly. This can optionally be disabled from the settings panel. |
